What About Cinematic Liberty???

I have been wondering for the past few days what being an artist in india means... why is india becoming so narrow-minded that a writer doesn't even gets to write what he feels, a filmmaker cannot film his expression, a painter cannot paint his vision... why??? what happened... we used to be the most liberal country of all... Kamasutra was written in India, look at the statues in Khajuraho... they're so free and bold... that was the real india... even the condition of women was much better. they were respected and were as important as men. and now, with all these politics entering art now people can't even express themselves... look what they do to M. F. Hussain, Taslima or even Madhuri Dixit and Yash Chopra... Why?

WHY DON'T THESE PEOPLE LAEVE ART AND CINEMA ALONE???
